The new RAMCO Mark II quick change swivel socket is designed to allow the operator to save many man hours through simple quick and convenient steps in changing from one tool to another. This new concept of the side opening rope swivel socket assembly for connecting you various tools to a drilling cable in wells allows an operator to quickly and conveniently change from one tool to another. For example, from drilling tools to bailer, sand pump and so forth without the necessity for cutting and resetting the sand line or cutting the cable for each operation. The socket is designed to avoid interfering with fishing tool operations and to avoid damaging the lock nut of the socket assembly while in use. The simplicity and rugged design of the socket puts it in a class by itself. - To change from your string of drilling tools or workover tools to you bailer or sand pump, simply unscrew retainer rings and slide and remove swivel socket.
- Insert swivel into RAMCO Mark II Quick Change Socket, insert retainer slide, slide on and tighten retainer rings.
- Attach desired tool using the API standard joint on the Mark II.
