Casing Spears
RAMPP fox trip casing spears are manufactured in two, three and
four slip design. They are used in pulling pipe that is to be recovered
from the hole. Where continued jarring is necessary, the four slip type
spear is recommended as it enables the slips to contact the entire
circumference of the pipe which prevents it from becoming elongated. The
tool may be tripped and withdrawn when desired, and it is suggested that a
new grip be taken every so often to insure that the pipe does not become
distorted. RAMPP casing spears are made for tough jobs. When ordering, be
sure to specify the number of slips, inside diameter of the pipe to be
pulled, the weight of the pipe and the size tool joint.
